Mindfulness is a beautiful concept that fuses FlowPsychology with Meditation philosophy. Western Mindfulness is quite different from traditional MindfulnessSati, but the general direction is not wrong: paying full attention to what's going on often results in stress reduction and a lowering of anxiety. But this thought process skimps on the details a lot -- Mindfulness can be called a form of Meditation, and Meditation is not always pleasant and can actually increase stress and anxiety, at least temporarily.
