Commercial pest repellent sprays can cost $10-20 per bottle and contain harsh chemicals.
Instead, you can make your own natural peppermint pest repellent spray for about ~$1.50 per 600ml that you can refill cheaply and is much safer for your family and pets.
It's also non-toxic to the pests, which means you won't be killing innocent animals and insects. Good karma.

Instructions
- Add 100ml of 90% rubbing alcohol to your garden pump spray bottle
- Add 15-30 drops of peppermint essential oil to the alcohol
- Shake well to mix the oil with the alcohol. (You have to do this step first because oil does not mix in water)
- Add 500ml of water to fill the spray bottle
- Shake again before each use
Usage
- Spray around doorways, windows, and cracks where pests enter. You can even go crazy like I do and spray entire sections of wall and carpet with it, because it smells so nice.
- Reapply every 2-3 days.
- Safe to use around children and pets (watch for allergies)
- One batch makes 600ml of spray
